Indoor Riding Arena & Boarding Facility

Heather is part of the fifth generation who grew up on the farm. Since she was a little girl, she has always had a passion for horses. She got her first horse, Sassy, when she was ten years old and has been riding ever since. Today, she especially enjoys trail rides, barrel racing and gaming at local shows.

In 2017, she realized her long time dream of building an indoor arena and in 2020 added stalls for boarding. She now offers:

Boarding services

Arena Rental (hourly, daily, weekly and monthly rates)

Occasional Trail Rides and Clinics

Conveniently located 8 miles north of the Houlton exit, short term boarding options are available for layovers heading to Canada.

Please contact Heather at 532-8693 for more information about rates and availability, and follow our Campbell Horse Farm Facebook page for announcements about special events and offerings at the arena!

Horse Training

Natalee, Heather's youngest, has grown up around horses. She began riding and showing at age three. When she was eight years old, she got a mini horse named Zeus that didn’t know how to lead and began working with him. She broke him under saddle and trained him to jump, barrel race and pull a cart.

Since then, she has gained experience working with her own horses and those boarding at Campbell Horse Farm. She has done everything from lunging and exercising horses to training young ones and working on ground manners and behavioral issues with horses of all ages and breeds.

Natalee has always been patient and gentle with horses. She has soft hands and knows how to use her legs and seat so does not use harsh bits or harsh spurs. She has worked with different breeds, ages and types of horses, including those with trauma, behavioral issues, bucking, rearing and bolting, to get them soft and ready to ride comfortably and calmly. She now offers:

  • Training, in general or with a specific goal in mind
  • Starting young ones under saddle to add miles and experience
  • Helping horses overcome behavioral issues, quirks or trauma
  • Teaching ground manners and desensitization
  • Getting your horse into shape for the show season - lunging, exercising, riding

Please contact Natalee for more information on these services and pricing, 207-538-2269
